Jacquard Blazer For Miami Swim Week

Claudia Di Capua

Top: LF (similar here) / Blazer: Free PeopleShorts: Lord & TaylorHeels: Stuart Weitzman / Sunglasses: Ray-BanBody Chain: Brandy Melville (similar here and here)

The Look

Miami - specifically South Beach - calls for bold colors to match the art deco buildings and overall vibe of the area. The energy is high, so naturally, my look had to keep up! I can’t begin to tell you how happy I was to accidentally come across a blazer like this. I’ve always been into the boyfriend blazer fit, but find it difficult to track down a quality fit, color or print. My interpretation of the this pinkversion is that inspiration was drawn from Asian silhouettes such as the kimono in terms of print and fit. The blazer hangs so perfectly and the movement doesn’t get better! Well done Free People.

I love the idea of mixing smaller fitted pieces with oversized flowy pieces like this blazer, which is why I went with a white LF crop top and linen shorts that I found at Lord & Taylor. The large criss cross detailon the top does wonders for the midsection. This upside down V-shaped illusion that it gives right above the belly button is super slimming! I find this to be especially true when wearing it with a high waisted bottom. My only recommendation when wearing shorts with a large blazer like this is make sure the shorts meet the length of the blazer, or at least be somewhere close to it. Keeps the look classy!

Taking full advantage of me being tanner than normal this summer and sporting a lot more gold jewelry than usual. I Have been playing around with body jewelry and layering much more as of late. I didn’t want to spend a huge amount of money I was experimenting with, so I went for a cheap body chain from Brandy Melville. Now that I know, I’m obsessed, I may invest in a higher quality one. I truly think that small details like a gold body chain hanging out of the bottom of a crop top like this can enhance an outfit. It definitely added that Miami vibe and an ounce of glam to the look!

Finally, sandals are the map of summer shoes, especially this Stuart Weitzman style. It was the perfect shoe to pull the look together will helping to give all the glory to my blazer! they were the perfect wing woman support for this look. Let e know your thoughts in the comments below!

Greece Diary: Beach Day Coverup

Claudia Di Capua

Dress: Anthropologie / Sunglasses: Ray-Ban / Necklace: Livewell Design

The Look

This is it, my final Greece outfit post! So sad, I know. I definitely had a great time shopping for this trip and now you can to via these posts! This is easily the simplest look that I am posting about, but it was super handy (and now under $50). I included a few other dresses that I love on as well!

This slip style cover-up was perfect for throwing over a bathingsuit when I was heading to the beach or beach restaurant. Great for on the go activity because it was extremely light in weight. It really felt like I wasn’t wearing anything half the time!

I love the wrinkled looks the bottom of the dress has. It’s details like that or the textured area right below the chest and lace detail under each arm that really pull some pieces together. There’s nothing like feeling weightless and airy in summer heat especially on vacation! It was slightly sheer, so it’s definitely more of a coverup, but it could be worn regularly if a slip is thrown under it.

This dress is by Anthropologie and has me going back! I love their summer line obviously because it’s full of ruffles, whites, blues and loose fitting pieces. They truly did a great job and keep getting better. I highly recommend checking them out this season if you are looking for simple and easy going items.

If you read my last post, you know that I only took my favorite accessories on this trip and still ended up wearing only a few of those things. Of them were these Ray-Bans and gold necklace. I even nixed the shoes for this look! To see my previous Greece Lookbook posts, see below!

Greece Diary: Eyelet Blouse in Mykonos Town

Claudia Di Capua

Top: Tularosa via Revolve Shorts: MadewellShoes: JoieBikini: Fae SwimHat: Ralph LaurenSunglasses: Ray-BanNecklace: Livewell Design Body Jewelry: Brandy Melville

The Look

I have located the ultimate summer top and it hails from the brand Tularosa! I found this eyeleted gem on Revolve and had to have it. Everything about it screams summer. From the eyelet details to the peplumed sleeves and hem, it has a very airy feel and look to it. The tie from makes wearing it casually easy because you can throw a bikini under it (like I did) and be on your way. On the other hand, shimmy that bikini off for your night events as it becomes the perfect plunge summer top. The perfect balance of sexy, delicate and cute.

Since my look is rather casual, I paired it with a great pair of raw edge Madewell shorts and simple black Fae Swim bikini. I accessorized it by throwing on some gold body jewelry and layering that with a gold necklace. Madewell has such great denim, you truly can't go wrong with them. The quality is great and the wash is even better!

Next, let's talk about one of my favorite topics, Aussie swimwear lines! To this day, I swear by Australian swimwear brands. They are always coming up with super sleek designs that are on trend for amazing prices. The quality is fantastic as well. Also, buying Australian products is a bit cheaper for us since the USD is a little stronger than the Australian dollar right now, which always makes me really happy at checkout!

I tried Fae Swim for the first time and I'm super impressed. Keep in mind that everything is very skimpy and Brazilian cut. This aspect is what I loved about it the most. I highly recommend sizing up! I normally wear mediums in everything, but I wore a large for both the top and bottom!
