Cropped Puffer Jacket x Klasse14 Timepiece

Claudia Di Capua

Sweater: Genuine People / Coat: H&MJeans: Levi'sSunglasses: Elizabeth & James Heels Public DesireWatch: Klasse14

The Collab

I have grown a new love for watches thanks to blogging. I love sharing the awesome brand I get to work with and happy to say that Klasse14 is one of them. They create details and unique timepieces that are different from the usual. The one I am sporting is called the Volare silver are has such a gorgeous face! I love how it is sunken in a bit giving it that depth and visual appeal. It would make for an awesome holiday gift so make sure to get yours in time!

The Look

I haven't had a puffer coat in a while, so I went with the puffiest one I could find! I was inspired by Danielle of We Wore What as I saw this jacket on her Snapchat, which helped visualize my own look with it. The cropped shape makes it a very street style piece while the puffiness really does help insulate heat. It is super comfy and I love wearing it with fitted jeans and heeled boots. The short length of the jacket actually helps to elongate your body!

The 70's era has been showing up in many of my looks as of late. For some reason, I have been very drawn to the look and colors of that time. This Genuine People sweater for example embodies the knitwear you would see back in the 70's. I love the warm colors (believe it or not) and it paired really well with the jacket. The extra long sleeves have to be my favorites part! They stick out of the sleeves of my jacket making it cozier.

As for my bottoms, this pair of Levi's wedgie fit jeans are a go-to of mine since they work with just about anything. The cropped, raw ankle contrasts perfectly with my white ankle boots. They graze each other just enough. Overall, the look works in a way that has all pieces complementing each other. Whether it's colors matching with the white on the sweater and the heels or cute and style, the look has a flow that I love!

Lapel Coat + Vinyl Pants

Claudia Di Capua

Sweater: H&MCoat: SheInPants: H&MShoes: & Other Stories (Similar here) / Sunglasses: DiorBag: Express

The Look

A long lapel coat is a must for late fall/winter! I love them because they can be thrown over literally everything, giving your look an effortless feel. I normally like to wear mine with a chunky scarf, but decided not to this time around to give these vinyl pants the spotlight. Long coats work as a great layering option because they always complement whether you are looking to do a monochrome look or color block look. I often like to wear all grey with this coat, but throwing a bold color under there would have worked as well! This coat has a great street style fit and classic look all in one, which is why you must find one if you haven’t already! Asos and Topshop often. Have great options!

Moving on to the pants. I had been very interested in the whole vinyl craze leading up to this shoot, so I was super excited to share my experience with them in a post. To say the least, they are epic! I love the shine and focal point they create even when wearing g all neutral colors. They are super cool if you are ok with a few interested stares. One recommendation I have is to make sure that you find a pair that don’t make noise as you walk. The ones I’m wearing make a slight noise when I walk, so definitely don’t skimp out on price as you need to pay for the material quality. I know Topshop has a very popular pair, which I have linked above!

I bought these & Other Stories slip on shoes about 3 years ago and sort of put them to the side after one use. I’m so glad I didn’t get rid of them and that they are in perfect condition because I’m OBSESSED with them now! They are all leather with studding on the top, which honestly is what sold me. They take inspiration from men’s dress shoes, but the pointed toe and smoothness of the leather are what make them more feminine. I linked a few similar ones since these are course out of stock now!

As for accessories, I went with my Dior So Real sunglasses, which I’l have forever. They are like art to me (love the brow bar)! I’ve wanted an Acne scarf for a while, but I accidentally came across a similar version at Free People and it’s been a staple ever since. This scarf is so soft and amazing for the price. Now is the time to start eyeing what you are going to jump on during those Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales!

Leopard Print in Soho

Claudia Di Capua

Dress: LoaviesJacket: Ivy Revel Boots: GuessSunglasses: Ray-Ban

The Look

Prints - Something I have stayed away from like the plague, until now. I have seriously warmed up to the whole leopard print deal. I saw this dress online and figured why not try it. I will warn you that although I bought this dress on Loavies, they do not pay for return or exchange shipping from the US back to Europe, which ends up costing more than the dress itself. I ended up buying two of the same dress and am now selling one of them (let me know if you are interested)! Make sure you nail your size the first time around and you'll be golden!

The dress is similar to something you'd find at Zara or Mango, which I was fine with given the great price I got it for. I love how flowy it is and how I can layer it. This dress works for three out of the four seasons and all it takes is a little creativity with layering and shoe choice! I could wear it in the spring with a simple heel, but also in the fall with a sweater and light jacket plus a pair of OTK boots. I could get even sportier and wear it with sneakers as well. So many possibilities!

Subtle and simple details can really add to a look. For example, I grappled with wearing a pair of shorter combat boots with this, but figured it would be slightly too cold. The faux fur on the sleeves of the coat sort of mirror the animal theme we have going with the dress. The ties on the hips of the dress as well as the neck make the dress much more feminine and the gold details on the bag and sunglasses make everything look more luxe. Try a few of these things out and I promise, your look will stand out just a little but more!
