Outfit information and tips are located at the bottom of this post!
Wanting to put a comfy and cozy look together, I pulled the fluffiest items in my closet! I was also thinking, what would a comfortable NYFW outfit look like? This faux fur jacket from H&M was a steal! I got it for a great price and it really works well when layered. A link to an identical version by Vince Camuto is linked above. I put a thick white turtleneck under it, which kept me safe from the frigid snow that fell as we shot this look! I've recently gotten into using blanket scarfs because they can be worn in so many ways. You can wrap it completely around your neck, wear it long like I did, or wear it over your shoulders. Any of these ways add a chunky look, which makes the outfit more street style. I love this scarf from Urban Outfitters because it's so soft and the color matches with everything! I paired the top half of this look with my favorite faux leather leggings and platform slip-ons. I almost wore it with white boyfriend jeans, but chose to save those for warmer days. Everything I decided to wear in this look appealed to comfort and coziness while still keeping it chic. I just got these sunglasses by The Row from Gilt at an amazing price (Originally $420 down to $79)! These oversized sunnies have a cool shape and simplicity to them that makes them ideal for everyday use. This is definitely a go-to look for me as it has all of my favorites: A chunky scarf, leather, a cozy/fluffy sweater and jacket, and any type of sunglasses!
If I Was To Do It Differently:
I wouldn't change too much, but I would swap out my skinny leather pants for a roomier white boyfriend jean and add a cool leather baseball cap!
