I’m back! I know in the past week I haven’t posted as consistently as I normally have due to graduation (woohoo!) and moving out of my old apartment. I’m heading back to NY, which I am so excited about! But, let’s talk about this look. Anthropologie is truly creating some of the prettiest designs for spring and summer. I love how they are embracing ruffles and helping me create delicate looks for me to share with all of you! But you already know this from my last post. The ruffles line both the front and the back of the sleeves using an extremely light fabric. When I first tried it on, the movement of the ruffles reminded me of a jellyfish (haha). I had such a hard time deciding between blue and white, so I may just have to get the white as well! Definitely one of my favorite tops for this season.
Next, lets move on to the bottom half of this look. I found these two tone, cropped jeans at Zara. They are slightly high waisted and have a sick front zipper detail. This is what really sold me on these! I definitely recommend sizing down! I had to exchange them twice until I finally got my right size. They are super comfy and fit well. These Topshop shoes are also a new favorite of mine. I questioned the pearl detail forwhile, but was so pleasantly surprised when I ended up loving them. The silver is the perfect way to make a moccasin more exciting! While the pearls are a little preppier than my style, they easily mesh with things I already wear.
As for accessories, I finally got to shoot my new Elizabeth And James McKinley sunglasses. I love the shape of them and how they add a retro vibe to your look. The black seems to keep selling out, but the cream and pink ones are floating around at various stores. The black continues to go in and out of stock, so I would keep checking back if you wanted that color! Also, I went for my silver H&M choker necklace because I love how simple it is. I am always wearing it these days!
