The Denim Jumpsuit I'm Bringing With Me Into Fall

Claudia Di Capua

Jumpsuit: Reformation / Belt: Gucci / Large Pendant Necklace: Maje / Heels: Stuart Weitzman / Sunglasses: Ray-Ban

The Look

I know the weather is starting to get a little more sporadic, but I wanted to get one last warm weather look in. It’s worth noting that this jumpsuit will be joining me as I saunter into fall because it looks great layered over a fitted top as well. I love a piece that I can use for multiple seasons!

I went into Reformation looking to return a pair of jeans, but inevitably ended up exchanging them for something else (this jumpsuit). I’m very happy I did, because the denim is so soft and is quite flexible. The fact that it feels that way while also looking structured and shapes is amazing. The waist really pulls me in and the vertical zipper helps to give my short torso some length!I can’t wait to wear this with a sleeveless mock neck top, black leather jacket and heeled ankle boots (I haven’t thought about this at all).

Accessories like the the Gucci belt gives this already vintage looking jumpsuit a kick back to the 70’s. I love I how it pulls the waist in and adds a pop of gold. Not to mention, It helps to bring a bit of focus to the Gold Zodiac Maje necklace I found in Barcelona along with the smaller pendant. A simple Stuart Weitzman block heeled sandal was added to keep it simple and classic. These shoes will literally never get old.

My Subtle Style Changes + Light Summer Layers

Claudia Di Capua

Top: H&M (Similar below) / Blazer: H&MJeans: Current / ElliottEarrings: MejuriHeels: Stuart WeitzmanBag: Express / Scarf: Hermes (Similar here) / Sunglasses: Ray-Ban

The Look

Changing it up little by little is the goal of summer 2018. I’ve made subtle adjustments to everything from my styling to my editing! While all components of this look are things I already had in my closet and would normally wear, the combination of them all is what makes it slightly different for me. For example, I am a true tucker-inner. Almost every time you see me in a t-shirt, it is tucked into high waisted jeans. This time around, I kept the shirt untucked over a pair of boyfriend jeans with a summer blazer. When I wear a blazer, it normally means that something is getting tucked in below, but styling it the way I did felt more breezy, comfortable and summeresque.

While I don’t have a lot of blazers that are specifically great for summer weather, it is something that I would like to invest more in. They go so well with t-shirts and camis and can easily be dressed down. I would wear this top and blazer with a pair of jean shorts and sneakers as well! This t-shirt is sold out, but I linked a bunch of favorites above that would be great additions to your closet this summer!

QUICK TIP: Add a few more lives to your simple handbags by wrapping a scarf around the strap. I’m obsessed with doing this lately and it really adds depth to your look. Super easy to change scarves to match your look as well!

These Current Elliott jeans are 100% my summer go to and I’d go as far as to say one of my best purchases this season. I found them on sale via Hautelook and am considering getting a second pair! The shape is super flattering and the cropped length makes them perfect to wear with heels or sneakers. I’ve always been a fan of showing a little ankle. In this case, I went for simple Stuart Weitzman sandal since I went casual with the untucked top. This look is a great representation of the easy going yet put together vibe I am going for this season. What new things will you be trying?! Let me know in the comments!

Acne Jeans + New Favorite Knit

Claudia Di Capua

Sweater: ReissJeans: Acne Studios Boots: Stuart Weitzman | Sunglasses: Ray-Ban | Beret: Urban Outfitters

The Look

It's one of the warmest days of winter today, but I'm posting this anyway! As I was putting this post together, I realized that I love and look up to many of the brands I'm wearing in this post. For example, I love Stuart Weitzman's amazing suede work, Acne Studio's commitment to street style and Reiss for their simplistic elegance. I recently became acquainted with Reiss and am so happy to have tried it out. I could honestly wear this sweater without a coat because it does it's job of keeping me warm very well! I normally wear a light long sleeve top underneath and I'm good to go. Blue is my favorite color, so finding this style of sweater, which is one of my favorites, in this icy blue color for winter was a no-brainer.

I'm in love Acne Studios. I love how their pieces have asymmetrical lines and how they have a signature streetstyle look. They do oversized so well, but I went with the skinny jeans this time around! I had been on the hunt for a pair of grey jeans for a while as my closet is oversaturated with blue and black jeans. Their jeans are fairly priced and super high quality! I expected the price to be annoyingly high, but was pleasantly surprised to see that that they were right on pace with many of my other jeans.

Next, let's talk shoes and accessories. These Stuart Weitzman boots hit it out of the park for me. I love the rich, warm tone and texture of this grey. It looks luxurious and different than the lighter and colder looking grey that most other over the knee boots have. I'm always a fan of slightly different and unique! These boots are on sale now for half the price!! Definitely check them out above. I went for my old and new favorites for accessories. The old being the Ray Bans and the new being the beret. I wasn't sure I would love the beret, so I got one for a lower price. I like to test new items out this way so that I don't spend a fortune on something I may not love in a few months. Luckily, this isn't the case for this beret as I can't seem to take it off!

P.S. Those Great Danes though!! I wish they were mine, but they're not. A friendly pedestrian let me borrow them for a picture or two :).
