Belted Wrap Dress + Leather Jacket

Claudia Di Capua

Jacket: Mango (Very Similar Here & Below) / Dress: Zara (Similar Here and Below) / Boots: Alexander WangSunglasses: Ray-Ban

The Look

It’s approaching the last few weeks that I can get away with wearing a leather jacket and not feel like I’m melting! This started Mango jacket has been one of my favorites so I got it! I love the shape, the texture and of course, the star details. If you’ve read any of my previous posts, you probably already know that I’m obsessed with stars. Although this exact version is no longer available, I linked a bunch of super similar versions below! I included a range of prices, so there’s something for everyone! Having a leather jacket with a subtle detail like these stars can really make a jacket. A plain jacket would be great as well, but this starred version gives it that extra uniqueness. There’s a special place in my heart for this one!

Now moving onto the dress. I encourage you all to go through your closet during this seasonal transition! I found this dress hiding in my closet, tags still on and never worn. You never know what you’ll find in the depths of your closet! I found this wrap dress at Zara a little while back thinking it would be great for a vacation or dinner. I wore it to none of the above (haha) and gave it its first debut as the feature of an edgy NYC look. It’s super comfortable and one of those pieces that I know will come in handy time and time again. Can’t go wrong with a little black dress!

Finally, we come to my FAVORITE boots of all time. Alexander Wang nailed these boots with everything from the smooth, structured leather to the silver stud piping. The platform is just high enough to give it that edgy punk look, but low enough to not be in your face. I’m truly obsessed with the design and know that I’ll find a reason to wear them no matter how hot the summer is or how cold the winter is! I’m getting slightly tanner, so gold accents like these Ray Bans will be seen more often. I love how the gold pops against my skin and gives off a warm and sparkly look.

All Black Lace Up // Rumba Time Collaboration II

Claudia Di Capua

Outfit information and tips are located at the bottom of this post!

Top: Express / Jacket: IvyRevel (similar here) / Bottoms: Tobi / Watch: Rumba TimeBoots: H&M Bag: H&M (very similar here) / Ring: Anarchy Street (Use code CLAUDIA_Di10 to get 10% off your order!)

The Look:

As you know, I'm a fan of the all black look. I've been saving these lace-up pants for just the right outfit! I found them on the Tobi website where they offer 50% everything if it's you first order with them! So, naturally I went a lil cray. These pants are a high waisted stretch material that feel like leggings, but look like pants. I love the comfort! I've been sporting a lot of turtlenecks this winter season, but this sleeveless version was a nice change for me. It is fitted, lightweight and I can style it in so many different ways. I've been stocking up on bomber jackets, so when I came across a new brand (for me), IvyRevel, I thought I'd try it out. The sleeves are made of faux fur with leather taping around the zipper and the jacket is slightly oversized. I like that it adds a spin on the normal bomber jacket. The size of the jacket is a nice contrast to the fitted top. As a whole, the look is meant to have an edgy feel with the help of all of the details including the texture of the jacket, lacing on the pants and accessories.

The Watch:

I've teamed up with watch company Rumba Time again to help style a watch from their new collection. Imaged above is the Soho leather in rose gold with a black leather band. I LOVE these watches because they come in so many different styles and are of great quality! The price is also amazing for what you are getting. This watch fit in perfectly with my look because the black straps matched the outfit while, the rose gold watch face popped in contrast. Check out my last post featuring the Gramercy Mesh Rumba Time watch HERE.

If I Was To Do It Differently:

If I was to change this look up, I would add a white flowy blouse and a nice pair of strappy heels.
