Outfit information and tips are located at the bottom of this post!
Like I spoke about in my trend report, sherpa and shearling are in! I snagged this vest from Gilt and I’m so glad I did. Even when it’s a little cooler out, the lining helps to keep you warm. A light sweater goes a long way, in this case! I’ve also worn this vest with a skirt and dress, so it can be worn in many different ways. I’m sure you guys have noticed the major statement necklace that I’m sporting. This is a handmade piece by Mirina Collections, which I am a Brand Ambassador for! What does that mean for you? I am able to offer a 20% discount code to you guys to shop similar jewelry, accessories, and some cool outerwear as well! I love how the necklace pulls attention to the top of the look where most of the action is happening. The sherpa lapel is getting all the attention it deserves while the necklace speaks for itself. It’s made up of crystals and silver, so the necklace never fails to make you feel glam! I went with a high waisted grey Madewell jean and BCBG booties. I went with grey to help break up the black between the to of my look and the shoes. When I wear ankle boots, I prefer a cropped jean like this one so that the pants don’t look too long at the bottom. It keeps everything looking clean. I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments below and share this with friends that you think would love this look!
If I Was To Do It Differently:
If I was to change up this look, I would naturally go back to black. I would add a leather or leather looking jean and suede over the knee boots. What can I say, black is bad a*s! Hover over and click any picture to find out where to buy it!
