Claudia Di Capua X Two Feathers: A Minimalist's Dream

Claudia Di Capua

The Collaboration

Collaborating with Two Feathers is like being in a minimalists dream. I had a hard time selecting what I wanted to feature because every piece is so wearable and simple. I love how all of their pieces can be worn with a number of looks. I landed on this asymmetrical top and long duster jacket. Both are amazing and will be getting lots of use as we head into fall! The tank looks so delicate and the jacket is the perfect weight for light breezy weather. I truly am obsessed and can't wait to see how many different looks I can put together using these two pieces!

The Look

I was inspired by the structural nature of this cami, so I built the rest of the look around this concept. These tailored Aritzia pants are a new staple for me! I love them so much that I went back to buy them in a sleek olive green color. I highly recommend them because they can easily be worn with sneakers on a Saturday or to the office for work. A simple shoe swap transitions this look from work to play.

This duster jacket couldn't have come at a better time. I've wanted one for so long, but couldn't seem to find one I loved. This pajama-esque version kept my look light and airy, but also sleek. There is a tie that goes around the waist, so no worries if it gets a

little chilly outside! This jacket complements the tank so well not just in color, but also is structure. While the tank has rigid lines, the jacket falls more loosely around my body creating a nice contrast within the look.

Let't talk about these new shoes! These Karl Lagerfeld slides were hidden gems in a sea of sale shoes at Lord & Taylor. I got them for a steal and never looked back. They draw inspiration from the classic Manolo Blahnik heel and converts it to a sporty version. Most of my sneakers have backs, so it's refreshing to see this style without the covered heel.

Claudia Di Capua X ThePeachBox

The Collaboration

As you can see, I've partnered with ThePeachBox to share a couple of my favorite pieces from their latest collection! It's no secrecy I love silver jewelry, so I was happy to spread the word about this super chic Marc Bale Silver Crystal Watch and silver Roman Empress bangle. The work so well together and are timeless pieces! I'm a huge fan of the layered minimal jewelry look, so these pieces together mix with my current jewelry collection so well. I can truly say that ThePeachBox supplies some of the best modern looking jewelry at amazing prices. I definitely recommend checking them out for your jewelry layering needs!

The Look

Let's dive into this look and how I styled around this watch and bracelet. With both pieces of jewelry being minimalistic, simple and elegant pieces, I wanted to create a look that complemented that simplicity. Also, these accessories are super comfortable, so of course the look had to match! For my own sake.

A rule of thumb for me when try to make a casual look feel more put together is throwing on a blazer. A simple blazer like this H&M one isgreat for summer and looks effortless over a t-shirt or blouse. Personally, I like them over t-shorts because it gives the look that street style vibe. This is why I paired the blazer with a simple linen top from Madewell. They have the softest, comfiest tees!

You probably remember these jeans because I wear them so often! I found these babies on sale on Revolve by Lovers & Friends. The quality of denim is so high and they sit perfectly on my hips (not to low or high). I've decided that having a lot of cheaper low quality jeans is not worth it. Investing in higher quality jeans makes them last longer and you'll probably like them longer as well.

Lauren Ralph Lauren Summer Collection: An Evening in SOHO

Claudia Di Capua

Top: Aritzia (very similar here) / Jeans: Lauren by Ralph LaurenHeels: ZaraBag: Lauren by Ralph LaurenSunglasses: Ray-Ban

The Collaboration

I’m partnering with Ralph Lauren to help share their Summer 2017 Lauren by Ralph Lauren line! I am so grateful to be working with a company that I have known and loved for so much of my life. I spent a day in various parts of NYC showing you how seamlessly this collection merged with my style and how well each piece worked for different times of day. In this post and the one I posted on Tuesday, I’ll be highlighting the Lauren Ralph Lauren Carrington Brigitte Tote, Premium Cropped Denim and Off the Shoulder Top. See how I styled each piece, shop the items and let me know your thoughts in the comments!

The Look

It's hard to pick, but this look has to be my favorite of the two I put together for this collab (see the other one here)! I love looks that work well for both daytime and nighttime purposes. All I had to do was unbutton a few buttons on the shirt and switch my sneakers to heels to transition this look!

Now, let's talk about these premier cropped skinny jeans. They are truly some of the most comfortable jeans I have now and sit perfectly at my waist. Let's be real, high waisted jeans aren't always the first pick,

but this pair sits just below where normal high waisted jeans sit making them super comfy! I'm a huge fan of the cropped look, so I love how these allow for a little ankle to show. Believe it or not, I think shortening the jeans a little actually lengthens your leg especially when worn with heels.

Drum roll please...the Carrington Brigitte Tote everyone. I can't get enough of it! This may look on the bigger side, but it fits so much inside and looks like a completely upgraded messenger bag when wearing like a crossbody. You can wear it short by just holding onto the handles or let it hang perfectly at your hips. I've had experiences where the long strap is way too long, but this one is just right! The bag is simple and carries that signature classic RL style so well.

Seeing as both the jeans and bag seemed so timeless, I made sure to complement these pieces with a simple/minimal blouse that had a modern twist. This oversized Aritzia blouse has bee a favorite of mine for about a year now and the oversized look feels so effortless and airy. I definitely recommend shopping both this Lauren by Ralph Lauren line as well as the minimal pieces at Aritzia!

Lauren Ralph Lauren Summer Collection: A Day in NYC

The Collaboration

I’m partnering with Ralph Lauren to help share their Summer 2017 Lauren by Ralph Lauren line! I am so grateful to be working with a company that I have known and loved for so much of my life. I spent a day in various parts of NYC showing you how seamlessly this collection merged with my style and how well each piece worked for different times of day. In this post and the one to come on Thursday, I’ll highlighting the Lauren Ralph Lauren Carrington Brigitte Tote, Premium Cropped Denim and (name of top). See how I styled each piece, shop the items and let me know your thoughts in the comments!

The Look

Summer is all about the cold shoulder and off the shoulder looks, so blogging about this top had the word “yassss” running through my mind! I like how the top has short sleeves rather than long or draped. I haven’t seen off the shoulder tops like this very often and this style felt very clean and timeless. In NYC heat, carrying around heavy weighted clothing is a no. This blouse is not only light weight, but it has a chambray look to it and delicate arm and hem details that give it an airier look!

While you are more than welcome to wear this blouse long, I prefer to tuck it into my shorts or pants. I opted for a simple white pair of shorts fro J. Crew (sooo comfortable)! The denim is so soft and works perfectly with everything form dressy tops to t-shirts. To keep this cool color palette going, I made sure to keep my accessories in the silver/grey hue. I’ve head these heels for a while, but the lace-up and simplistic style are keeping this pair as a go-to. I never get sick of them!

I’m obsessed with this Zara bag! They have it in a few colors (which I just saw online) and I may have to scoop up a few more! I came across this silver version in a store and fell in love. I usually go for a tote or cross body bag, but never considered other styles. The straps are the perfect length to wear as a shoulder bag, but also have it hang low enough to not be in the way. Also, there is a zipper to store any valuables! It’s perfection and I highly recommend.

Ally Denovo: Carrara Marble Timepiece

Claudia Di Capua

I'm super excited about my latest collaboration, guys! I love accessories, so that means watches. Ally Denovo is a Switzerland based watch company that has nailed the art of creating modern and fashion forward timepieces while keeping them at a reasonable price. Who doesn't want that?!

1. Classic St. Gallen | 2. Vintage Mesh Rose Gold | 3. Carrara Marble Silver | 4. Carrara Marble Black | 5. Mini Vintage Mesh Silver | 6. Vintage Mesh Rose Gold /Black | 7. Carrara Marble Full Black | 8. Carrara Marble Gold Black | 9. Gaia Pearl Pure White | 10. Mini Vintage Rose Gold

We all are so use to looking at our digital devices to tell time, but Ally Denovo is giving us all a reason to embellish our wrists with watches again. Not only does this watch serve the function of telling you the time of day, but the styles and designs will only enhance your accessories game. Layering these watches with simple bracelets or adding a few rings brings your look to a whole new level!

As you can see above, I rounded up a bunch of my favorite styles from both there latest and previous collections. I love the simplicity and personality that comes with each watch. It's no surprise that many of my favorites feature a marble face, but I'm also obsessed with the mesh styles. Both the silver and rose gold mesh options are sure to give your arm candy some serious luxe vibes!

Of course, my overall favorite is the Carrara Marble Silver, which is shown in the larger photo above. I'll be posting how I style a watch like this within a week, so keep an eye out for it! I linked all of my Ally Denovo picks above. Happy exploring!

Go Rogue With Coach

The Collaboration

I've partnered with Coach to tell you all about a new beauty that is part of their new collection, aka the Rogue bag. I'm sharing why I love it, some cool features and why I styled it the way I did! It's so cool to me to be able to share with you an awesome bag from a company that I am so grateful to be working with! I can't wait to show you how this bag will step up your accessories game this season.

Coach has stepped up their game and bags like these are only amplifying my street style game. The versatility of the straps and the simple white color of this bag is going to have me coming back to this bag all spring and summer!

The Look

With a bag like this, I knew I needed to create a look that complements the lightness and springiness while still staying true to my personal style. That is how I came to but together this feminine and ruffled Mango blouse with the contradicting style of the Zara skirt. I love how they balance each other out! the skirt has a slight flare towards the bottom, which I think is so cute. But what really sold me on this skirt was the studded hem. I love little details like this! The blouse is light and airy, which is ideal for warm weather!

Let's talk about how the bag comes into play in this look. It's small to medium size makes it perfect for everyday use. I'm completely obsessed with the gold details and removable straps! I can sling it over my shoulder or hold it by the handles. Either way, the Rogue bag adds a modern touch to whatever I wear it with! The classic large zipper is a nice detail in addition to the huge amount of space this bag actually provides.

It was hard to choose accessories that didn't go with this bag! Again, the light color and fresh look made it so that I could wear it with basically any of my sunglasses and jewelry. The deep red/maroon handles and piping are a gorgeous addition to the bag and help to balance out the light and the dark, which similarly matches the theme of  my look.

Overall, I think it's safe to say that this sleek little bag is making moves on my spring wardrobe and I couldn't be happier!

Dressing Up A Simple T-Shirt With Chews Boutique

Claudia Di Capua

Top: Chews / Jeans: Levi's (also here) / Heels: Missguided (similar here) / Bag: MangoBelt: Gucci

The Collaboration

While I am collaborating with a new brand, I am happy to say that it is with a person I have worked with before! Remember my JQ Vancouver collab?! Well the owner started a new clothing company and it is awesome. I'm so excited to be showcasing one of Chews short sleeve tops. It is super soft and such a pretty nude shade. Also, there is a side not detail on the hem of the shirt, but I tucked in the shirt so it's a little hard to see (sorry)! JQ Vancouver was one of my first collaborations, so I am so happy and proud to be circling back to partner with their new business.

The Look

I can finally go outside in a short sleeve top and lace up heels! This Chews top is cool because I can wear it in a few different ways. The sleeves are a little long, so you can wear them dow or rolled up a few times like I did. I like the rolled look because it makes the top a little sportier and casual.

Because of the simplicity of the top and jeans, I opted for my standout Mango handbag and Gucci belt. I love how the gold embellishments on the bag and belt warm up the cool tones of the top and jeans. This bag is so cute and reminds me of one of the new Gucci bags. Also, I love patches, so this bag was a must have!

I want to talk about my hair and makeup for a second because I was pretty happy with how it turned out for this post. I'm a huge supporter of the half-up half-down look. Check out my photoshoot makeup routine here.
