I’m partnering with Ralph Lauren to help share their Summer 2017 Lauren by Ralph Lauren line! I am so grateful to be working with a company that I have known and loved for so much of my life. I spent a day in various parts of NYC showing you how seamlessly this collection merged with my style and how well each piece worked for different times of day. In this post and the one to come on Thursday, I’ll highlighting the Lauren Ralph Lauren Carrington Brigitte Tote, Premium Cropped Denim and (name of top). See how I styled each piece, shop the items and let me know your thoughts in the comments!
Summer is all about the cold shoulder and off the shoulder looks, so blogging about this top had the word “yassss” running through my mind! I like how the top has short sleeves rather than long or draped. I haven’t seen off the shoulder tops like this very often and this style felt very clean and timeless. In NYC heat, carrying around heavy weighted clothing is a no. This blouse is not only light weight, but it has a chambray look to it and delicate arm and hem details that give it an airier look!
While you are more than welcome to wear this blouse long, I prefer to tuck it into my shorts or pants. I opted for a simple white pair of shorts fro J. Crew (sooo comfortable)! The denim is so soft and works perfectly with everything form dressy tops to t-shirts. To keep this cool color palette going, I made sure to keep my accessories in the silver/grey hue. I’ve head these heels for a while, but the lace-up and simplistic style are keeping this pair as a go-to. I never get sick of them!
I’m obsessed with this Zara bag! They have it in a few colors (which I just saw online) and I may have to scoop up a few more! I came across this silver version in a store and fell in love. I usually go for a tote or cross body bag, but never considered other styles. The straps are the perfect length to wear as a shoulder bag, but also have it hang low enough to not be in the way. Also, there is a zipper to store any valuables! It’s perfection and I highly recommend.
