#OOTD: Flowers, Baby Blues & Vinyl
Claudia Di Capua

The Look
I’m obsessed with flowers, ok!? This may have been evident from my last cookbook post, but just in case you missed it here’s a reminder.
This look is all about giving an outfit depth. It’s such a small detail and such an easy thing to do to add variation to your closet. Mixing and matching is how you get the most out of your clothes! I layered a light blue Reiss sweater on top of a chambray button down by Lucky Brand. I’ve had the button down forever, but keep getting use out of it by wearing it open with a tank top, on the beach with a bikini or like I am in these pictures, under a sweater for added warmth. The versatility is not the only added benefit. Layering helps give a look more visual interest. I love how the button down and sweater are basically the same color, which makes the pairing super subtle. But, the textures and shape are completely different. The collar and the hem of the shirt peep out at the top and bottom of the sweater, giving the look a relaxed, street style feel.
These vinyl pants are seeing their last few wears of the season! Soon it will be too warm for them, so I’m squeezing in those last uses! I love the shiny vinyl style and cut of these pants (high waisted and cropped), but these ones make a little too much noise! Next season I will be rebuying them from a different store like Topshop. They are a little more expensive, but also more wearable. I linked a bunch of styles that I would get today for you to shop above!
On the other hand, you’ll be seeing a lot more of these sneakers. Spring is here and so are all of my white sneakers! I love the velcro closures as they add some variety to my never-ending lace-ups!
