What's Trending
Claudia Di Capua
We are currently in a blast from the past when looking at what's trending! From flare jeans to chokers, companies are revamping some past staple items. Stay up to date with what's trending and where to buy this items with this What's Trending list! Trust me, you'll look so chic.
Raw Edge and Cropped Flares
Raw edge and cropped flare jeans are in! These styles are showing up all over street style loks on social media and on NYFW attendees. Many brands have picked up the trend, so finding a pair at whatever price point is comfortable for you is definitely an option!
Bell-sleeve Tops
Bell sleeves are one of my favorite new trends! I love how this style can make a simple shirt have a refreshed and upgraded look (even though this is a recycled style). There are so many versions of the bell sleeve to choose from. Whether you like a more exaggerated sleeve or a discrete version, every option will keep you on trend!
Choker
Chokers made their move in the fall and are still here as we head into spring! Some are more delicate looking and some are more dramatic, but all put a cool spin on an old trend. Fallon has become famous for their detailed chokers and many brands are developing their own more simple versions.
Boyfriend Blazer
Borrowed from menswear, the boyfriend blazer is chic in so many ways! It is so versatile and can be worn with a more sport look or to work. These are great because they can be worn as casually or dressed up as you'd like. I love the look of a plunging neckline and boxy fit. I will likely wearit buttoned completely with a nice lace bralette underneath!
Velvet
Today's trends seems to be "steal the styles back from the 90's". Velvet is showing up on any item you can wear these days! When in the right color, velvet can make your clothing look really sleek and is great for when you need to look more dressy. Make sure to stay away from the spotty or cheap looking velour versions.
Bomber Jacket
The bomber jacket has survived the fall and winter to also make into spring! This is likely because a) they're awesome, b) they are great for layering, and c) there are so many styles of bombers to choose from! Even though this jacket was snatched from the 90's, many brands are experimenting with new materials and finishes to change it up!
